VTT to SRT Converter

Updated: Aug 14, 2018

VTT to SRT converter is an online tool used to convert subtitles in the Web Video Text Tracks Format (WebVTT) file format to SRT subtitles. You can select the starting subtitle counter for each of the sequentially generated subtitles.

VTT is a new subtitle format that is quite similar to SRT but with some advanced capabilities such as text styling, positioning and karaoke effects. Because SRT does not support these features, these are stripped from the output.
